Next Tailgate

Michigan State (November 22nd, 2008)

Preview
After last week's soggy effort in the muddy fields of lot 24, we look forward to this week's effort against the visiting Spartans.

It's a game for the Big 10 Title, for a trip to the Rose Bowl, and for our Seniors....

Accuweather is projecting a RealFeel of just 19 degrees on Saturday (quick, who is #19 on the PSU roster? Answer below.) -- luckily the evening temperatures won't be much cooler, with temperatures falling to just 15 degrees.

Lot 24 Wings and Washers on CSTV!

College Sports Television (CSTV) visited the Lot 24 Wings and Washers Tailgate for their Tailgate Superstars feature. They visited PSU on October 27, 2007, for PSU's heated match up against #1 ranked Ohio State. More importantly, this was one of Lot 24's famed pig roasts. Three of the nine video clips are from Lot 24: Marty's wings, the pig, and Washer Toss. For more, see the CSTV tailgate site.

About Lot 24 Wings and Washers

The Lot 24 Wings and Washers tailgating partnership was born in the Fall of 2000, on the campus of The Pennsylvania State University. On a day when Heisman hopeful Drew Brees left Happy Valley in defeat, our first tailgate commenced with two hibachi grills, one table and—believe it or not—no deep fryers.

Lot 24 alongside Beaver Stadium is where we call home. There, over the course of many autumn Saturdays, our annual Pig Roast and Lobster Steam have become signature tailgates. No matter if we are cooking for 20 or 120, each and every aspect of the tailgate is taken very seriously. With the advent of washer toss, a double burner deep fryer and numerous other top-notch tailgating amenities, we have grown into the well-oiled machine we are today: Penn State Tailgating at its finest. In the face of rain, snow, or blistering heat, a tailgate begins on no less than seven weekends a year. From the time the Lot 24 gates open (often before sunrise) until the food has been consumed and the sun has set, our white tent stands and the plink of washers prevails.

No matter what the outcome of the game, at a Lot 24 Wings and Washers production you can count on these precious things: the washers will fly, the wings will fry, and the tailgate will never let you down.
